This course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, along with equipping trainees with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct an internal audit of a portion of a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the standard. Participants will also be able to report on the effectiveness of implementation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the system, in line with ISO 19011.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
* Explain the purpose and objective of the series of management system standards.
* Understand the application of quality management principles.
* Explain the relationships between the clauses of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. * Explain the process-based quality management system model according to ISO 9001:2015, and the role of internal audit in maintaining and improving the quality system, with reference to the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.
* Explain the auditor’s role and responsibilities in planning, conducting, reporting, and following up on the internal quality management system audit, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1, if applicable.
* Plan, conduct, report, and follow up on an internal audit of a part of the quality management system based on ISO 9001:2015, and in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1, if applicable.
