This certified course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct first, second, and third-party assessments of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, aligned with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 guidelines as required.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the purpose of an Environmental Management System and the organizational and societal benefits of improving environmental performance.
- Explain the role of the assessor in planning, conducting, documenting, and monitoring an Environmental Management System assessment, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1 as required.
- Plan, conduct, document, and monitor an Environmental Management System assessment to verify compliance (or non-compliance) with the requirements of ISO 14001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1 as required.
